Pegah Mirkiani

Pegah Mirkiani has been teaching piano at Muno Stavanger and Sandnes for over a year. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance, specializing in piano, from the Art and Architecture University, and a Master’s degree in Musicology from the University of Oslo. Recently, she completed a year of study in Chamber Music with a focus on piano performance at the University of Stavanger.

With nearly ten years of experience as a piano teacher, Pegah has worked in diverse educational settings across various levels. She has been recognized for her dedication and systematic approach to teaching with an honorary certification.
Pegah’s teaching philosophy centers on inspiring students to find joy in playing the piano, even with simple melodies. She believes that fostering a deep appreciation for music helps students stay motivated and patient throughout their practice. Her approach prioritizes the learning process over the final outcome, encouraging students to enjoy practicing as much as performing—a perspective she considers essential for lifelong learning in music.
